Description
Refined Shea Butter is white and odorless body butter. When melted in a double boiler, it looks very similar to Mango. Using Shea Nuts from Ghana, the product is then shipped to India to be refined. The refining process removes the color and scent and in the process, lessens most of the natural healing properties. The results? Refined shea butter has a longer shelf life and is still a good moisturizer but with lesser natural skin regenerating benefits of Unrefined Shea Butter. Most commercial products that have the wording: “contains Shea Butter”, refers to the use of Refined Shea Butter which only acts as a moisturizer.
